opinions on an article?

Just wondered if someone would like to have a look at http://www.mind-design.co.uk/atf_cooler.htm and tell me what they think of the style of the article? I know it's not quite complete yet - no pictures and I haven't done the diagram of the brackets, but let me know if you (so particularily non-techies here biggrin.gif) can follow my style of writing etc.. Did I make it too technical, not enough detail, etc etc..

Oh yeah - comments on the website in general are also welcome.. I think.. biggrin.gif

Cheers smile.gif

Az

Aaron,

I am going to call you the Prof from now on.

Very good article, like the way its laid out in terms of design and language (good for us laymans). Are you going to add photos, that would be useful.

If I were Haynes I'd be worried biggrin.gif.

Nice one, let us now when its finished.

G.

Yep - will be adding photos just as soon as I finish the job wink.gif

Accidentally sheared one of the bolts off that holds the stock oil cooler off yesterday (due to it being rather rusty), so that paused work for a while.. i.e. two days to get very very drunk instead of working on the car..

Glad you like it smile.gif

I'll add prices of the bits that I needed too I think..

very good mate, i like that u show where to get bits from.

Az mate!

What I love about the TT.net FAQ is not so much what is contained in it - more the *Way* it is written, most of that FAQ is really written with the layman in mind (ie clueless f***s like me!)

The fact that you have put together this page when your car is in bits and you feel like shit about it is wonderfull mate - really is!

The ultimate compliment I guess, is that when your how-to is finished, with photos and diagrams - it will be a welcome addition to both the tt.net FAQ (where you have to submit it!) and everyone here who needs to DIY their auto-cooler upgrade.

Nice one, and as a reward I am mailing you your center console, as I have *finally* cleared out my garage.

Az,

Well done mate biggrin.gif Very easy to read and once the pics/diagrams are included I would imagine it to be a near fool-proof way of installing the additional ATF-cooler.

I have been looking to do this upgrade myself for a while now and will most definitely use your writeup once it is finished - so let me know!

Cheers!

Danny

aaron that is very good mate wink.gifI have the autobox oil cooler and it is an excellent mod.I cant understand why Nissan put an oil cooler in the rad to start with, but mind you they are not the only ones who do that!
