Film review section.

I personally think the site is great. But any additions can only make it greater especially if they are going to be popular. I think it would be an asset to the site if we could introduce a "film and tv" section or even broader and include music and the arts. What do you think?

I know we can discuss this in the general section but threads go so quickly on there you would have to hunt for ages to find an older one.

Seeing as nobody has posted here for a while, I thought I would !

Sequel to Underworld, Underworld Evolution.

Watched it last night while having a beer and a curry.

Kate Beckinsale is fantastic in this !

Takes off, right where the first one finished, with no gaps to try and figure out.

If you enjoyed the 1st vampire and lycan tussle, you will love this.

The Lion King

A fabulour roller coaster of a romp. Yes, it's primarily for children and filled with sacharine values but the cast, script and most importantly Sir Elton's score and the overall production values make it a bona fide winner.

The Lion King II - Simba's Pride.

A weak pastiche. Lacking all the originality and pathos which made Part I great family viewing and a real tear jerker. Not recommended.

The Lion King III - Hakuna Matata. A welcome return to form. The focus on Part I's true stars - Timon and Pumba combined with a punchy, natated, non-linear format make this great viewing and a real compliment to Part I. Derivative as Tarantino is to Scorsese, Part III celebrates the glory of Part I with a unique twist.

Recommended Viewing:

Clerks

Mallrats

Dogma

Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (especially the cameo playing Cock-Knocker at the end and also Eliza Dushcoe in a tight PVC jumpsuit)

The Batman Trilogy (i refuse to acknowledge the 4th one as it waschuffing awful apart from Poison Ivy - Uma Thurman)

Fight Club

Sin City

Donnie Darko

Mystery Men

Transporter 1 & 2

Get Carter

and of course

South Park The Movie

Great list there bantam. You could add batman begins in to replace batman and robin. Are the transporters any good? My dad has them and says they're good but I havent got round to seeing them. Plus my Nan has them at the moment anyways.

lol, your nan's watching transporter? :) Can't imagine showing my nan that. First one is dreadful, second one more than makes up for it.

Worth watching the first one for the dodgy chinese guy with 5 gallons of makeup and the toupe, well funny :D

yeah my nan likes the action films, big die hard fan. I'll check those out then, thanks.
