But Hairsy had a (or has) a Chimera. IMO the Cerbie is one of the most beautiful cars around, not renowned for their reliability or low running costs though! biggrin.gif But then you're buying a car, that in performance stakes, will destroy cars of several times it's value. It's all about performance per ยฃ - that's why many of us have Zed's.

my cerbera as i said was blinding quick 0to 100mph in 9.1 seconds and i know my zed isn't as quick but but at least i can drive my zed everyday without it breaking down i can leave it in the rain without having a pond in the footwells and as for looks yes cerberas are stunning (thats why i bought one) but look under the skin and its a glorified kit car not very well put together thank god i got rid of it .zeds are the business i've had 280zx's z31 300zx turbo and now my first tt they are just awesome.

I'd kind of agree with most of the above except that I don't think that the Z has the character of a TVR. Admittedly my only experience is with a Chimaera but from what I hear the Cerbera has even more. Admittedly with the AJP8 engine it does seem to have it's fair share of visits to the dealer though !

Just as a reminder, mine has never broken down (in my ownership that is - can't speak for before), drives like new, has a full service history, only 33,500 miles and is still available at a bargain price of only ยฃ15,000 (that's about ยฃ1,500 to ยฃ2,000 below book due to a need to sell urgently).

And it even has magnolia hide interior which you guys could stick in your Zs !

Nothing like taking a thread off topic and into a sales opportunity !
