Any chance of a group buy on HID's this winter??!!

Any chance of a group buy on HID's this winter??!! dark wintery nights are here already and lights seem to be even worse than last year. They are absolute shite. I reckon a few newer members are only discovering how bad the zed lights are.

and the low driving position doesn't help either. every other car seems to dazzle you even though they're not on full beam.

yup to right i've got 130w bilbs in mine and it's still like 3 candles on the front who's gonna do the group buy this year come on traders

Get on to Chris at Get Greddy

He's got some in at the mo or at least he did last time I spoke. The ones that just fit staight in.

well I'll be interested..

Feel like you need a guy in a reflective vest, carrying a torch walking about 100ft in front of you with the standards.....

the BRAKELIGHTS are brighter!

I'm not saying HID are a bad idea - I've sen them and they're great.

But my standard headlights are fine.

I think some cars have a build up of dirt on the inside of the outer glass and cleaning this up would really help.

I'm sure HIDs would be a big improvement too though.

The differences are HUGGGGGGGGGGGE mate, yours being a late model Zed may have some changes but once you go HID you'll never go back :hyper:

Could be interested if the £££ is right!

I've been given the goahead to do a GB so if interested let me know and i'll sort one. Plug & play kits ranging from 4300k Yellowish right upto 12000k super blue. Warranty included with the kits (minus P+P costs)

GB prices will depend on the numbers and colours wanted (prices start from £205) so let me know.

No Chris your wrong

The Difference Stella. Beyond all beliefe

how much for the superblue, 12000k...

(and you say they're plug and play?)

and as long as I can pay on or after the 19th of Oct, stick me on the list!

The 12000K superblue will look nice and bling, but you'll see far less than you will with the 8000k pure white. Read all about these and they are the optimum visabliliy you can get. Anything over 8000k starts to have the opersite effect to what you'd think.

I have 8000k HID's and I hardly ever use high beam these days as the are so good.

Im running 6K HID's - made the WORLD of difference ;)

So 8k's are prolly the best then? anyone got linkage on some info on these?

where's the list?

I'd be interested in the 8K ones if they're the best for visibility?

Blue would be nice though... :D

4300 will do a job 100% better than the Z stockers, no drastic need for an 8k kit, will confirm the higher rated kit prices later tonight and put up a thread. Would be possible to extend the deal to other clubs if people knwo interested parties, the more people the cheaper they'll get ;)

Yes - I'm sure they're amazing.

I've ridden a motorbike (R1150GS) bbefore and after a HID kit was fitted and the improvement was outstanding.

Count me in Chris, a 4300 will probably do but i'll also go with whatever the majority want.

When do you think the order will be made? I could get in if I just would find a Z before that and subscribe to the forum.

Ken

You can see the difference in my Sig and that was in broad daylight, after having a Red Zed without HID's and my Blue Zed with them, the difference is LIFE SAVING and that's no exageration!

Ken

Buy mine, shipping not included in the price! lol

How much do you want for them mate, and how bright are they? :)

4300k is the best for illumination and is OE fitment for cars fitted with HID from the factory. (Bmw's, Mercs, Omega..etc)

The Number rating relates to colour and not brightness. As you go higher they get more blue and give less light !

4300 - white

6000 - Blue tint

8000 - Dark blue/Purple tint

I would be interested in either the 4300k or a 6000 kit.

he means buy his car Ken lol
