need a bit of help finding an online manual or workshop manual in download type,as my saab 93 turbo has shot its load and i need to fix it as im not paying someone else to do it if possible :(

 

or anyone know of any breakers i possibly need a recon block- rods and maybe a piston or 2!

 

or is there any one who have worked on these cars any advice,i work on zeds for a living so have mechanical experiance obviously LOL

 

should of kept the z LMAO :wack:

and yeh the only good thing about sweden is the women,well most of umm

Sorry to hear you got probs bud with the 9-3 :( What yr is it mate as i have 9-3 Convertable 2.0 T and have contacts at the SAAB dealers.

2001 sarge there was a statement i found on several forums...

due to oil sludge build up causing oil starvation to the top end and turbo saab in a statement from GM say from 1998 saab will warraty any 9-3 or 9-5 with this fault for up to 8years due to a flaw in the saab design of there sump!

 

symptoms are

 

turbo failure!

car cuts out for no reason whilst driving!

complete engine failure!

mine did all 3 in that order

 

so if you could contact saab and question the oil sludge problem and let me know ASAP it would be much appreciated where i stand
