I know there are not many members on here that say they are going to buy something then muck you around with payment etc, but I think that any member who does this should recieve a ban, either for a week or 2 just to try and stop it from happening. What are other peoples views?

i think you should just sell to the next person on the list. :)

But is it up to the "Club" to interveen in personal private sales?

That is a very good point.

 

I have never bought anything where I recieved teh goods before paying.

The very least I have paid of large chunks of it and then paid as soon as I could.

well ive said that i would buy something from a subscribed member but because of unforseen circumstances (fooking alarm and house sale) i had to pull out at the last moment

 

so again sorry maxsunny

 

but atleast i had the deceny to tell him and to put a post up saying that i was no longer in the running for the item for sale

A ban is not realy the answer it wont solve the fact you still have googs for sale and thet still have their money in their pockets.

The answer is to move to the next person and sell under their feet!!

After all it is an open market and you cant remove people from

the open market or none of us would sell our houses would we! Just food for thought befor anybody gets Be-headed whilst they are inosent :p

There are some people who genuinely want an item but then circumstances may change and can't go ahead with purchase. However there will always be the odd one that isn't genuine but how could tell?

Unfortunately you can't just ban time wasters and messers, but someone who has recieved and not paid then yes they should be named and shamed. I recently got gazzumped on something due to a timewaster and it is sooo bloody annoying.

That aint exactly the same thing. anyone can be forgiven if they fall on hard times permanent or temporary. I am sure he understood? some just aint got no intentions in the begining. Thats who should be shamed publically.

I think a few of you have have got the wrong end of the stick, so here it is explained more specifically : I am selling my Z and all the parts I have bought for it seperatly, I inperticular was selling my Ohlins suspension to which I had a big responce, but first come first served. A suscribed member says yeah I will take the mate 16th Sept, I have transfered the money into your account and it will show Monday, kept checking account still no sign Saturday, I sent very polite pms to the member saying that I had not recieved the transfer yet and could he let me know whats happening, as I had recieved a later transfer from another member, no reply. I was asking for reciepts on the pms so I new he had read them?? So I send him one more asking for an immediate reply, which is also read and ignored, I have since sold them to another genuine member. My point is this : Fair enough if for some reason you run out of money or something happens and you cannot afford to buy something, then pm the person explaining this and either ask if they can hold the item for a bit longer or sell it to somebody else. Not : Ignore all pms sent and pi55 the seller off as will never sell stuff to person again. Comprende. IMHO

but on the bright side i get some Ohlins suspension for cheep :dance:
