Lo guys, where do I access the speedo converter on my jap import swb tt as the speedo is now hardly working and it's not much fun cornering and the pas kicks in or cuts out!

I've been told it could also be the speed sensor but hopefully get to the bottom of the prob soon as it's getting annoying.

Cheers.

If its the Speedo convertor, than thats a little aftermarket box on the back of your speedo cluster.

Symptoms sounds just like the speed sensor. These seem to be going with the regularity of a part reaching the end of its design life (many on the list having probs). I changed out a perfectly good (solid state) converter before I found it was the (mechanical) speed sensor. :headvswal do the maths it is more likely to be your 13 year old sensor than your newish electronics............

IMHO suggestlooking there first
