got his one of the ttnet supplied by DSP.

 

Now i can get units like this made up for about 400 squid, but quality is of a much higher degree.

Anyone have half an interest in this ?

Thats the reason why SE abandoned doing them for the Z. They kept on overheating.

I'm pretty sure the only people running them out in the states are the ones running big psi (25+) and do a lot of drag racing..

Lets not forget most of them have a 'beater' car too though..

 

Better with a very open front facia though, and a vented centre panel - you'll get a lot more air flow that way..

 

OH yeah - and I gotta say, the end can design on that DSP (top) intercooler is *awful*! Ye gads...

 

Another thing - you'll also gain lag, the crazier the pipework, the more lag you gain.. And the pipework on an FMIC is *crazy*..

Well im not sure about this losing the cooling to the radiater thing, Why on earth if that is the case do all the big power 300s in Japan (which has twice the humidity and about 10 times the temperature of this place) all use front mount intercoolers?

 

The only way to find out is to do it, so i shall bring me back i anice huge front mount intercooler form sunny south africa and fit it

No timmy on the conterary im very happy with the HKS Jobbies but i have always hankered after a front mount one , as they would look so nice especially on the stillen bumper you lucky sods got your hands on. Then you could use the current intercooler ducts for a brake cooling effect.
