My favourite expression is.

You will always regret the things you never did, not what you have done'

I try and do as much as I can within reason. A boring life is not for me!!

Surely that's just glib nonsense IMHO

The things I regret were the things I did (crashing cars, failing exams etc)

... A bit like people who say 'live every day like it was your last'

If I did that, I'd spend all my cash, take loads of heroin and shoot anyone I didn't like the look of. Not a wise strategy.

It just sounds good.

Ok, lets say for example there is something you always wanted to do(like travel the world) but never got off your ass and did it, When your at the end of your days that would be a big regret!

You only get one stab at life so live it!

True I guess.

My greatest regret is not working hard when I was at school / college and that's something I didn't do.

Regrets, I've had a few. But then again, too few to mention.....

I do regret a couple of things I've done in my life. But you'd better not think about them because you can't get it back and that would just make you sad..

i always regret beating people up,and then i put myself in there position and think i wish i never done it ,but lately ive find myself a lot more calmer and i try to help people a lot more, trying to balance it out i guess, but theres always some dick who thinks he can swear at me and get away with it,maybe i should try arguing instead

farting after a night at a real ale festiful

I regret being lazy at school. Fortunately I've managed to do alright for myself but I sometimes wonder how much I could have been earning had I had better qualifications.

A mate of mine did a doctorate in some obscure branch of physics and his first job afterwards paid £85k a year! If only....

But there is one! When I was 26 a bird cracked on to me, but she was only 17... and she was a once in a lifetime spec-tac-u-zLAR! Many men wept at her beauty.. Well long story short I was kissing and all that, and I got this unholy sense of guilt and felt like a dirty old man! yep! I stopped short of boffing her  why o why o why!

Criminal

Yep when I met my wife I listen to my heart when I should have listened to my dick, because until then it had never let me down.

Seriously though I think you hit it right on the button Apollo.

We all do stupid things, but if you don't learn from them then that is regretable.

2 things spring to mind. I regret leaving the railways in 1986 (Train Driver) I would be a top link driver on top money now. My money isnt bad where I am and I cant complain but i do regret leaving the Driving side of trains. My second is not getting a 300ZX years back because I would have a greater knowledge of the car by now. Thats about it.

Regret killing the people i have :( Due to passed work i may add ;)

Regret not killing a few that needed killing :x:
