JAP BULBS PURCHASE

Hi Peeps,

For all those who want genuine bulbs for the JAP Imports. I have managed to track a company in England who specialise in bulbs.

I have sent my recent blown example to them, and they should have an answer by the end of the week. I have also requested if they can supply the correct bulb, to obtain an uprated version.

What I need to know is how many sets to obtain if anyone else is interested.

Leigh.

you would have to establish a price first.

Cause if they are more then 2-3 squid than the uk ones i think alot of people will just convert stock ones (or in my case get az to do it biggrin.gif)

Well I also found a company that specialised in bulbs and they couldn't get them.

I don't think the headlight ones are really a problem because it's easy to mod UK ones, but the high level brake light bulbs are pretty ellusive.

Andy p i got my brake ligh bulbs from local nissan no probs whatsoever.

...count me in for a couple of pairs as long as they are more than 55 watt and the price is 'reasonable'

thanks

Jack

I should have an answer by the end of the week on the bulb. But personally I dont think its worth the hassle of modifying a UK bulb. Chances of damaging the new bulb are high and no guarantee the solder wont melt if the lights have been on for a long period of time.

Goods news, although I am still waiting for the company to call me back who has my blown bulb. I have found another supplier, and going by the prices I should be able to get SUPER WHITE versions which give 110watts of light for around £10 a bulb. Will wait for the other company to return before ordering.

How many bulbs do people want, so I knw when I order.

ill have a set of those please

Took a look at the comments made on the links submitted. Interesting as I have one standard bulb in the Left Headlight, and one 55W - 110W bulb in the Right headlight. I have better road visibilty from the Right side than the left. So as far as I am concerned they do make a difference.

I don't think there's any argument that doubling the wattage will make a difference. What I have heard is that people have frequent failures when they use high wattage bulbs.

Not experienced this myself because I only have the 30% brighter Ring bulbs.
