Hello all,

I have some problem to speed up to the 4th gear. So I went to see Nissan and they say that we cannot change the 4th syncro... Because it is on the first tree. So they said that we can only do that if we also change all the tree... So final cost (without working hours) is 1600€

Is there any body here that did it?

If it comes to spending 1600€ You may wish to purchase a different box.

I have one that has been checked out by P & J Auto engineers. They replaced the main out put bearing and gave it a clean bill of health. So if you do need one I want £350.

iv not worked on a zed box but it would seem strange that you couldnt replace the syncro IMO. by "tree" do you mean the input shaft?

Lol

By tree I mean the axe where the 4th syncro is set.

In fact, they sayed that there is no syncro, I need to change the main axe.
