the "thing" sounds like the fuel filter ? and if so..sounds like its been bypassed  , and bypassed pipe is leaking

 :smw: :slap: :nono:  :headvswal :(

what are some people thinking???????? Yes it does sound like its the filter been bypassed!

nope its further back than that actually bolted to the inside wing

ill take a pic when the rain stops :)

theres a small pipe underneath

that is a vacuum pipe with the screw in where your fuel filter is you should have one pipe going into the fuel filter and another for the fuel return (right next to it) a pic of where the fuel is leaking from may help

but the sqaure unit in your pic should also have a pipe attached to the bottom ceck the pipe with the screw in is not from there

yeah fuel is leaking from the small pipe underneath presume the vac pipe should connect to the top

you should have two pipes at the top and one underneath connect the plugged pipe to the underside and see how it goes

there is allready a small pipe at the bottom but it leads to atmosphere the plugged pipe must go ontop.where should the small pipe underneath (where fuel is leaking from )go it doesnt look as if it has split and broken look like its ment to lead to atmosphere ill unfasten it from wing and take another piccy

there should be a pipe from the enigine my guess is the pipe with the screw in connects there someone may have fitted a boost gauge at some point and removed it but never reconnected the pipe the bottom pipe should not go to atmosphere

could be wrong here but doesnt the pipe with the screw in branch off to the recircs (it goes into passenger wing) if i put the pipe in the bottom fuel thats leakin will be goin to the recircs. (top arrow where i think vac pipe is from bottom arrow where fuel is from)

no rcircs are in front of car by radiator the vac pipe looks like it should go where your fuel is leaking the t piece feeds off to the (i think) aiv valves in the wing

oops meant aiv :)

just been lookin on the manual and it looks like its the presure regulator vacume relief valve controll solonoide guess its spittin out the fuel cos the vac pipe has been dissconnected from the top. but y would someone dissconect and plug it ?

Do a search on PRVR removal. Best bet is to bypass it. TBH I'd be careful driving the car until you sort it. If there's fuel coming out of it, then the diaphram in your pressure regulator must be shot, so it needs replacing.

thanks matey u hit the nail on the head changed reg no more leak :) by passed the prvr dont really understand why it needs solonoide if first place.something worth checkin for other peeps with the old fuel smell :)
