for me it was:

1 - power & performance. 5.6 secs 0-60 stock!

2 - looks. still looks stunning by todays standards IMO :)

3 - T Tops. always fancied a convertable but hate rag tops! T tops are a nice compromise

4 - value for money!

5 - promised myself one from the 1st time i saw one when they 1st come out!

6 - fuel economy. (ok, i lied on that one! :D)

Because nothing else looks as good or goes as well for the money. Simple.

 

Be nice to see the back of the dogs though and push up the price of decent examples.

had my heart set on one when i saw one for sale while buying my mk1 mr2......i knew i had to have one,and 2 years ago i did.....just think they lookthe balls......

for me it was:

Worked in a nissan bodyshop for a few years , always drooled over the zeds (i wiped it off before the owner picked it up :p ) but i never had a drive in one :headvswal .When manta v8 was on the lookout for a fast motor ,i mentioned the zed to him ( he was on about buying a poopra :slap: :slap: )anyway he bought one , took me for a spin and that was it , I HAD TO HAVE ONE. Best thing i,ve ever done :dance: :dance: WOT A CAR :bow: :bow:
