I can't give you any advice, but lets hope you get it sorted out so you don't have to pay for that.. Wont be cheap to get it straighted I asume :(

I presume you got his details?

If he has said he isn't insured I'd get the police involved imediately as if he refuses to pay up a month down the line then you'll be stuffed.

He should have insurance anyway!

get the old bill involved ASAP

but on the + side m8

certain insurance companies do a scheme where people who are hit by uninsured drivers get some money

might be worth asking about

read it in a mag a while back

its heart breaking when your pride and joy gets damaged...but at the end of the day it is a piece of metal and can be repaired.

im currently having simular probs bud chin up and drink a stella

gaz

It'll polish out............

Seriously mate what a pi55er - hope you can get it all sorted

good news, the accident only happend at 5.30 tonite and already ive had the solicitor from my insurance company on the phone

he explained that there is an institue set up (the mib no jokes please lol) that will cover and pay for any damage to me and the car, then claim it through the courts from the guilty party

he also said that my car will be repaired within ten days, all i have to do is phone the police and report it and get a crime number

so im in a better mood now and also half cut as im on the stella (first one in two weeks )

he also said "ooh a zed fantastic cars them" so im on a winner

thanks for the support guys

Excellent - carry on with the Stella Alan - and have couple for me seeing as I'm off alcohol at the moment

sorry to see it bud. all insurance companys pay towards a body (this is why our insurance keeps going up) that help people who have been hit by uninsured drivers, give them a call as soon as you can, i will look into i when i get back to work if you want.

I would get a repair estimate tomorrow first thing and if he can pay it straight away then fair enough, if not tell him you have no choice but to report it to the Police and your insurance. Hopefully that'll scare him enough to sort your money out.

Vijay

Doh!! Uninsured drivers

Ouch - really sorry to see the mess the idiot made. :(

Hope it all gets sorted quickly and without too much hassle. Report it to the Police though, the f**ker deserves to have his licence taken off him for driving without insurance!

I know how you feel but thank your lucky stars it wasn't as bad as my bump (See Pic). It took 2 years to get my money for that and the dick that hit me was insured!!!!

Poke me in the eye with a sharp stick if you want but you could use the oppertunity to get wide arches fitted now?
