Ok guys just out of interest how many of you have broken or missing undertrays?

 

As I may know where there are some stronger aftermarket ones with brake ducting for less money that the stock ones.

oh right, when we got Z... ours was broken... someone must of went over a high bump rather fast.... so we got duck tape on it!! :hyper:

Truthfully I'm not entirely sure. I know I have one at the front and it was fine the last time I looked. I don't even know if I have any others, never mind whether they're in good nick or not -- that said if anything had been hanging off the bottom of the car or otherwise in poor condition I would definitely have noticed since I was under there for a few minutes changing the oil, and always have a good look around anyway. Supposed to be getting the car in the air in the next couple of weeks to replace clutch and propshaft with a mate of mine, although I'm not holding my breath: I've been waiting about 2 months so far. Will take a look then. If they're missing I'd be interested in getting some more.

get more air (cooling)into the engine without them

it is supposed to improve the movement of the car through the air to have a smooth bottom..im gonna re-inforce mine with fibreglass as a few bolt holes have gone

When you changed your oil and filter did you have to access them through a little trap door with a valcrow fastener, on the plastic pannel underneath. Or, if the trap door has been taken off, through a hole that is square towards the back and tapers off to the centre as it goes towards the front if the car.

 

If you did then there on the wrong way round that should be for you rad drain.

just lost mine along M25 fed up with it falling down so ripped it off completly think car runs better without it now, good ridence to the poxy thing

Gota disagree there mate. You dont realise teh good they do, especialy at higher speeds. Ive not had mine for some time, need to make a custom one now to flow the air under the car better.

Did we ever find out where we could get replacements or the stronger after market ones???

My front one it is pieces after damaging it in the multistorey then nearly totally riping it off at JAE. Whats left of it I've tied up with tiewraps. :cry:
