i went to get my oil pressure sender fitted this morning,i was going to fit it in the blanking plug to the left of the oil filter but foun there was already a pipe plumbed into that point is that normal on a uk spec z? or has someone possibly had a gauge in before and removed it but just blanked the pipe somwhere thanks for any help in advance kev

whitezed there should not already be a line in there unless as you have said someone has used this port for a feed to something else, where does the existing line go to??? if you can trace this you will be able to tell what the prevoius owner has done before

hi ryan was difficult to see but it came out in a 90 degree elbow which then dissapered up behind the turbo area but cannot see anything on the top end of the engine

I know it's probably hard to see but you need to see what if anything this pipe is connected too , I have seen a fair few imports and some UK cars with some weird and wonderful add on's where mechanics have piped in to what ever they think is reasonable for there application some good some not so good

 

once you have established this you can go from there failing that pop it over to me and I will have a look for you

i think thatpopping to you may be the best idea as i had a thought is it possible someone has taken a turbo oil feed from there? will get an oil change at same time and hopefully fit the sensor for my oil pressure gauge when is a good time with you bud
