Urgent NZR help needed

I was driving my 2.5 diesel Transit van the other day and forgot to take it out of 4th going downhill fast as it would go, suddenly a loss of power, then it returned, then again a lose of power then i realised that i hadn't changed into 5th and must have been hitting the top of 4th, then drove home no probs. Next day, van keep losing power and stalling at any speeds in any gears :(

any ideas???

i thought possible air in the diesel injectors, maybe need bled

I need my van very important to get sorted so all help will be greatly appreciated.

cheers in advance,

Bandit...out...

no idea to be honest, haven't had the van a year, so not sure.

van ran and always has run sweet as a nut, until i forgot the gear change.

might be coinsidence

Certainly sounds lack of fuel related,I'd start with draining the filter first{plastic nut on bottom} and see if you sucked up some sh*t from the tank.

If no joy then replace filter and see if it helps.
