Not quite old enough to have owned one but I did have a Grifter!!!

 

Funny, but the latest generation of chopper bicycles are big buisness out here in Canada now, you see kids riding them all the time. Cant say I have seen any in the UK, they actually look pretty smart.

Haha, I saw one like that last time I where in the US, it have to be really heavy to ride those, the friction on the back wheel have to be huge..

I have teen them over here. They have gone in fasion and then back out.

 

I think people got a little peeved off having to pay £60 for a new rear bike tyre

400 and 600 quid. for a chopper.

 

I remember them. They were crap. Too heavy and dog slow. I never wanted one I had a new carlton feather weight instead.

 

Bet they aren't costing 600 quid.

i didnt have, a chopper, we was poor , and me mum bought me the chipper instead, but it did have me name on it, . on the front, ,, chipper the poor mans chopper lol after that i had a mongoose bmx with skyways mag wheels, did some good tricks then , lol
