Does anybody on here repair mobile phones?

I have a Motorola V3 and the other day it just stopped working for no reason, I have tried a new battery but still does not work, it will work as long as its plugged into the charger but as soon as you take it out and it goes onto standby it turns off and will not turn back on?? Its not a contract phone and I bought it from Ebay about 8 months ago £290. so I dont want to chuck it away. Cheers in advance.

I've got one and just tested it in my swimming pool, it didn't like it,doohhh!!

but usually the v3 has that kind of problems with keypads which are cheap to buy and easy to fix, or it might be the contacts on ur battery which you can buy cheap as well, if u have no joy there is a web site which u email details and they give you a quote to fix it,am at work so i won't be able to get the web address until tom,

Don't take it anywhere near a place called MPRC- I used to work there and it was pretty much the most mickey mouse outfit in Stoke on Trent (which puts it in the running for worst in England).
