Just booked my first trackday in my S13, and can't wait! Anyone got any tips for a novice trackdayer? :)

Its at Donington on the 5th of October (There are still some places left - http://www.bookatrack.co.uk)

I doubt I'll have my new engine in and run in by then, but it has given me the excuse to sort out a few niggles.

You dont really get the chance to really give your car a blast nowadays, especially round corners hehe so it'll be a good opportunity to improve the shrimp skills. :p

Might just have to pop over to Donington and have a giggle at you on the 5th :D

Never done a car track day but been on a few on bikes - best advice I ever got was be smooth coming off the brakes.

Learn The Track Before Hand ,and Always Be Aware Of Other Drivers And Make Sure They See You [lights On],it Will Be Heavy On Your Brakes,so New Fluid Dot 5 ,and Put Some Good Pads In ,and Dont Stab To Hard Or To Early On Exiting Bends, try To Pick Your Braking Points In Advance, and Be In The Right Gear Before The Bend, and Be Smooth And Your Be Quick, trye Pressures Are Inportant Usually Less Pressure Than On The Road

PMSL at the guy on the list with a "blue shitbox honda"
