When i drive, I can feel a slight clunking / movement (very slight).

What should I look at, is this ball joint, suspension or something else??

Also what suspension upgrade would be recommended and also the cost for parts and rought cost for fitting??

thanks

If the noise or clonk is when you move off or reverse with the brakes lightly applied check the tie rod arm, the nuts wher they fix to the lower arm may need nipping up.

Have noticed that aswell, thought it was because my brakes need replacing (doing this this week).

Where is the tie rod arm???

Thanks Jeff

Ok, Back to this..

Have had my brakes done today and have got rid of the movement / noises etc from warped discs........ Still get a clonk which is clearer and down to just the one problem..

When I brake, I still get a clonk from the left front which you can feel through the pedals and steering rather than a physical sound. continuous clonk, clonk, clonk, clonk until brakes are released... also feels a little movement in general driving.

Any Ideas, I have been told by a mechanic that my tracking rods are on their way out and ball joint is knackered with loads of play... I assume this is the problem but wanted to check from everyones experience if this could be the issue or if there could be anything else...

Cheers Guys...

When my ball joints went they did not make any noise just screwed the handling.

My shocker being buggered does make a lot of knocking noise, this is loudest when the wheel is unloaded and going over rough stuff (e.g. inside wheel going over a grate).

Ivan

cheers for all of your help...
