Today was the day I was dreading but wanted at the same time.

 

I went to the Kent car show today with the intention of selling raffle tickets for my car, but after selling the first few, a man and his son came over and asked about buying without doing the raffle, told him the price and he said he would think about it, then what do you know 5 mins later come back and did the deal :dance:, really glad to see my car will be going to a good home and will be looked after the way they should be. Am very sure he will be joining you guys in the meets and on here so my car will still be appearing :dance: and so will I even though I will be in the Ford Explorer (thanks Baz) so I can aways carry all the bits you cant fit in the zed :cool:

 

Still have the car for week as he is picking it up next weekend so have a week to say my goodbyes to the good girl she has been :)

 

Want to say thanks to everyone I have spoke to, had dealings with and all the helpfull advice you have gave me over the years on here as your all a great bunch and I will hope to stay a member as I am sure I will purchase another zed down the line :dance:

 

:bow: Another Big thanks to everyone who helps makes this club such a brilliant place and hope the new owner will have as much fun as i have had with the zed and this club.

 

Also a big thanks to Baz for coming to the show with me today all the help he has provided over the 6 months of knowing him, and also to SMW1 (stuart) who was a great help for the start and who helped make my car what she is today :dance:

I thought i got rid of ya when we sold the car today, but i suppose i will be doing the serviceing on the new one aswell......

Still visit the forum almost every day and keep up with the goings on.

 

Attended a Classic car show today with my IROC and my old Zed was there !

 

As luck would have it, I should be in the market for another Zed before Xmas with a bit of luck ! :D

 

Once you have one, it sort of sticks with you.

 

What you getting next ???

Cheers, yep i am am pleased in a funny kind of way.

 

I am buying Baz's Explorer off him as soon as mine is picked up next week :dance: just going for something completely different as I am buying a house at the beginning of next year so the 4*4 is perfect for filling the back up with furniture :cool: although the fuel bill be similar to the zed :shock:

Luckily had only just started so only had 3 gone. We walked round looking for the people to give the money back, managed to find one of them, so the other two have my mobile number so once they phone up I will post the money off to them. Glad I hadnt sold loads otherwise we would have been there all day.

Tell me about it, this is the longest i have ever owned a car, I usually sell after six months but I kept this for 2 years. The zed just attaches itself to you like no other car, i love it!

 

Bet it was nice to see your old car at a show, i hope i see the same :cool:
