i posted a few weeks ago that my hicas light was on and that you could start the car with wheels in the center and turn the wheel all the way right with out the licht coming on but if you turnes the wheel to the left you could only turn it a 1/4 of a turn then the light came on and it would not go into diag mode

today i started up light came on then i stalled it (ups) started the car up again and light didnt come on for 2 min and now it is opersit you can turn the wheel al the way to the left and it will stay off but you turn it 1/4 of aturn to the right and the light will come on

do you think that it could be air that has got in to the system or a faulty component thought it might of been fagoten what it is called at front under bonnet at drivers side (in uk)

any help would be apriciated

If your hicas light is on the system is not working. So it wont make any difference to your stability i dont think.

 

You need to diagnose it could be crossed wires on the actual unit. Low fluid level,

Steering wheel could be on scew.

i mean that it doesnt go round corners as well as b4 when it was working properly

sorry to sound dumb but seeing as the hicas is designed to make it corner better than it wont corner as well if it isnt working. But opther than that i have no clue why it is wierd.

well actually companies like stillen make eliminator kits for the hicas, it does not make the car go around a corner better, it helps with the pitch or turn in to the corner.

Most fo the 300 owners that do lots of track time in the states take the kit of the car.

 

i personally like the hicas, and also have a few probs wiht my system.
