I understand this very much. You spend thousands of pounds on your car intending to improve it. Only to get ripped off and have it wrecked by people who claim to know what they are doing. They promise 2 weeks and take 7 months, They claim they haven't damaged your pristine new from the paint shop bodywork and don't want to pay. They do nothing to replace parts that have gone missing from your car whilst in their care even though you have informed them that you whish them returned on more than one occation and over a period of nine months. Shit they even sit on the end of the phone and say you know I'm a straight Guy.

Well straight Guy if your reading this lets ask yourself what you'd think if someone came and took items off you car without permition or intent to return? I think nine months is plenty of time to decide intent. I never made you wait more thank two days when you wanted paying.

If they damaged your new paintwork which in total you spent the best part of £3000 having done. Would you think that acceptable of an establishment charging £40+ for its professional services and wouldn't you expect them to make good what they have done.

Then when a requests for payment of goods or the return of his goods is made by a supplier, because he hasn't been paid for months and because he's not happy at what he's been hearing. You think it is correct to bandy my name around as a sorse of bad rumour.

I assure you staight guy the bad romours of which there are now many are all of your own doing.

So Straight Guy prove me wrong and get my complaints sorted next week and I'll happiy tell anyone who asks me about you what you did to put things write. If you don't then I'll happily tell anyone on this board and the skyline board just what I've experienced, Because that is the point of a club. To help each other to keep these cars on the road and keep them there as cost effectively as possible.

As I said you'll be getting a formal letter this week and a time period to respond. After which I'll start responding to P.M.s if I get any with my views.

Oh yes and by the way this happened last light, buy luck more than skill and judgement I'm still alive and the car hasn't sustained too much damage. See Photos. Do you always only put three threads in one end and wind it full on the other as you've done with both side on my car. Because the threads tend to come off under breaking at high speed if they are'nt wound in enough.

So thats a new skirt iner wheel arch and SPL tie bar to add to the list mate.

P.S. I won't ask for the cleaning bill though a full RAC safety check might be warrented. hope to hear from you soon Thanks

Was only held on by three now knackered Threads, because it had been wound on too far on opposite end. I was fare bobbing on, hit the break for the bend and clunk. It just pulled the rosed end clean out off the tie rod. You could hear the tyre rubbing the front of my side skirt and the back of my wheel arch as the wheel no longer attached to chasis shot a good 2 inch back, only the front of my side skirt stopping it going any further back and fortunatly the guy coming the other way was a good driver. He said he could see something must have broke the way i just shot onto his side of the road. He quickly crossed over to my side and past in the opposite dirrection. He came back to see if he could help. I wished I'd got his name and number.

One pair of pants for the bin.

hope you get some joy with this mate....there is absolutly no excuse for this lack of common sense..glad you are ok and luckily nobody was hurt.otherwise the guy who did the work could have been up on a very serious charge in court.!
