I applied online, they'll call me on the next buisness day.

Are you insuring it as main car ? I insured mine as 2nd car on limited mileage policy (with wifes car as main car), and pay £650 to Admiral. (26 yrs old, 4yrs Protected NCB, Import TT)

I insured mine with 5000miles limit on my policy, BUT

if you get up to that, i was told to just drop em another £100 to bump it up to 7500miles, which is still way cheaper than what i was originally quoted ;)

How do you predict the amount of mileage you're going to cover. I know general is 10,000 but what if i don't use that much then i'd be loosing out. And if I put 5000, what if i go over that??

like i said, you usually just give a little extra, in my case £100, and it boots up the limit ;)

I'm with Heritage and they told me that if I dont use all my mileage up during the year they will transfer to the next year!

They also insure car with mods, and track day insurance is included in policy as long the event is a club event!
