Hi guys, just found this on the sxoc club board, reads like this

 

"Morning guys,

 

Gonna get things rolling with "The first North East Japstyle Meet in Association with www.japautostyling.co.uk", date is going to be Wednesday 24th August and will be held in the North East, Silverlink Retail Park, Near North Shields, Newcastle from 7pm. All japanese car owners are welcome.

 

This is not a cruise or an organised event, it is a Local Area Meet where local members from all Japanese car clubs can get together and have a chat and compare notes, lol

 

Hopefully this will become a regular meet on your calendar, and will hopefully get to the point where we can make it a legal event.

 

Post below if you wish to attend. Please post this on any jap forums you are a member of, and give me the link once posted if possible please.

 

Again this is not an organised even or a cruise. Please behave yourself if you attend, the idea of this is to get something steady going on in the north east for all jap car clubs. "

 

I think I'll be there, sound like could be fun and would be good chance for to meet some of you local drivers

Might make an appearance myself, not in my zed though cos its still off the road with bust autobox, should be getting it sorted in the next 4 weeks.

Hi folks, sorry I missed you all. I was busy earlier on but took a swing round at 10 to see if anyone was still about. Just 4 scoobies and a few kids in Micras eating McDonalds by the time I got there!

Well guys last night was a success, Id like to thank everyone for attending and making it a good meet, thankfully its the first but certainly not the last. Everythign ran smoothly, no problem and no one acting up which was good. Took around 70 pics. Now instead of copying them up to around 24 different sites, they are all located on the Team Jas website under this thread

Its just aswell we managed to remove that leaf from ur scuttle panel mate or all that water after washing the car may have caused some serious problems :smash:

yeah it was a good meet

 

only thing that could have been better is, if all the clubs that were there could have met up down the road somewhere and arrived and parked together

 

it looked quite good when all the gt4's came in together (maybe a thought for the zeds at the next meet) whtat a noise that would make lol

I thought about gettign everyone together in their relative clubs after id been there for a short while and saw it all higgildypiggilldy (sp lol), but to try and organsie that with 70+ cars wud have been a bit mad... Will definately put that into the next plan tho, will also have all my japautostyling clobber on aswell so people can spot me out of the crowd, lol, cudnt find my t-shirt and my other one didnt come thru until the next day...

 

After that night tho, i think i need a fleece doin aswell, lol

it was a bit cold lol

 

what i was trying to say was it would be up to the clubs that were invited to sort out their own convoy into the car park

 

so next time we have one we could arrange between ourselves where and when to meet

 

i dont think i met you at the meet (sorry) i was driving the white uk zed BTW

I spoke to bandit a fair bit (were u parked next to him) I was busy trying to get plenty of snaps so didnt get round everyone either, lol, will hopefully sort that out for the next meet aswell...

yeah i was two cars up from bandit i think i was the only white zed there

 

hopefully the 300zx.co.uk lads will be a little more organized lol

Hi lads, just popped into me mothers to get messages, so i will make it short and sweet.

Was a great night, really enjoyed meetin everyone, and yes the purple beasty made

it home safely, but i need brighter headlights lol.
