Spent 3 whole days working on the car and i know i WILL have a bloody good nights sleep tonight.

 

Stripped the front of the engine as far back as under the timing belt covers.

Found the cause of my water leak (see pic).

Fitted adjustable tension rods, front upper arms and front ARB.

Fitted front and rear coilovers and spent hours messing about with them to get them set up.

Got halfway through fitting hicas eliminator and realised i dont have spanner big enough for the tie rods :rolleyes:

 

Still got loads to do!

 

Im now just so physically and mentally drained from all the work, in between running in and out the house to check torque settings lol

forgot to mention, big thanks to JD and chunk and Jock and other people i rang but forgotten for the phone assistance

 

before taking on all this the most work id ever done on any car was an oil change on the zed, well pleased with myself :)

whats that bit you got in your hand their with the hole? :rolleyes:

its one of the water pipes at the front of the engine behind the main water pipes and short rubber hoses, both are in pretty much nackered so gonna need some new ones

Its the block side of the top rwater pipe, when tyou take off the top water pipe, there are two rubber hoses with clips around them, they leed to two small pipes on the block, Yas is holding one of them.

Nice and expensive, my contract at Holset runs out at the end of the week and I go back to uni so the car won't be getting another penny... but i do need a new exhaust and brakes and...
