Just something that Richard Smith said last week after viewing my zed. Apparently (I didn't know this), the original keys are made from titanium. Of which mine, is still currently there.

 

A lot now tend to have recut normal keys.

 

So, who has the original titanium key?

I have mine and I use it. It was the only one I had so I had a spare cut. Got the blank of the net from DTM I think

I have mine and also had 7 blanks which I have now sold off for a tidy profit :D as for only having the red key, you can get another cut from that and it will open the glove box as it the long straight groove that runs along the key that stops it opening the glove box if you know what I mean.

if i spray my plastic bit silver then!!!!!! I have one! LOL

I got mine, was told on Sunday they were uber rare, but this poll seems to rubbish that....

only got the red valet key, and I can tell you it DOES work the glovebox lock.

i have a direct circuit replica titanium key... not the original.

i bought one on ebay a few ago got delivered to an ex`s work so hence no key

iv got titanium which i use every day, a red valet key and a black one. yeah!

Got all three.

 

Titanium, Black and Red Valet key. Minor but it actually swayed the decision over another car that was almost identical except for..........Mine had all three keys AND the fairlady mats......LOL

Red key is vallet key, so you can lock glovebox and give your key to somebody else and they cant get access to any valuables.

The ex posted the key through your letter box too, and the key was for T Pot!!

As stated earlier I only have the red key which doesn't lock the glove box. Is it possible to obtain a key that will do it all? (A black one?)

yep - just get a standard blank and have the valet key copied... it's the blank that differs not the profile.
