WooHoooooooo....Preperation for the 16G's(18G's???)

Things are moving along nicely now....

Ive just won some GTR calipers on ebay for part of the brake upgrade

Also getting new GTR discs n porterfield pads from Smithy (ta very much)

The braided hoses are being sorted...once i finalise a definate fitment for them

(see this thread = Differences on uk to import connections? )

and the z had a new brake m/cyl fitted just before i got it.

Ive also got the bits for ducting the air from the fog light holes in the front bumper to the discs n calipers.

I have got some lurrrrrrrrrrvely inters coming soon thanks to chris@GGreddy = Inter Coolers

The C1 veilside front bumper(cheerZ znut) is increasing the flow to the inters and carbon cannister removel/washer bottle relocation is in the pipe line to get the air going through properly(the new viper wings ive had fitted should help here ;) )

The wide offset lightweight alloys from ryan (ta very much) can only aid the venting and braking factor.

Braided clutch hose from Topless and new slave cylinder from MJP along with the already fitted upratred clutch is ready for the job.

The handling factor is pretty much there now with the STILLEN Hicas eliminator and struts (Thanks again Danny @ DTA) together with the KYB's...

Allthough id like the setup that Deve8uk and markzx has but i can work towards that in between.

Weight reduction is next on the cards as per this thread = http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45751&highlight=weight

Had a few minor problems along the way since buying the Zeeee 8 months ago but all in all i think its coming along...slowly but surely.

Of course the final stage of the engine/inj/management and tubs is always gona be the most expensive part but "if a jobs worth doin-its worth doin properly" and all that.

This thread was influenced to me by SuffolkZX's "positive vibe" thread = http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=53984

Id like to say a massive thanks to this forum and all who have helped by supplying goods or just friendly advice including Dave.C who i know isnt on here anymore but none the less has helped me too(and especially KRSMAYO/chris for all his hard work...Thanks bud...and baz Hexakingfor his soldering skills and IT help)If theres anyone ive forgotton then sorry...Few too many of these :duffer:

You cant actually buy the 18g kit anymore as greddy dont officially make it but you can still get the 16g kit or poss get someone to make up the 18g kit which i think macca did :)

oooooo...didnt know that..Thanks ;)

give a guy called Nend a shout and see what he has hanging around turbo wise.

Mac put me on to him, what a top bloke. lets just say he's an over enthusiastic buyer and has way too much stuff to go on his project car.

You dont want the kit!

The kit includes Greddy manifolds and are prone to cracking.

I bought Brand new TD0518G turbos Pentroof manifolds with Trust external wastgates.

Nowt wrong with the kit, its tried and tested in the USA, as you know you just have to add a brace for the manifold as the TD05 is so heavy........

External wastegates...where did you mount those then?...is that part the reason you shifted everything around macca?(or are they not that big)

I dont realy know much about these cars at all yet but am learning slowly)
