Quick Help Needed

Heres the problem with my 91, NA 2+2 Z (Auto)

1) When I first start it in the morning, sometimes I have to turn the key about 3-4 times to get it started, (Not Always)

2) In the mornings when I get it started, I put it in reverse to back down my driveway, the revs drop down to about 400, it feels like the car is gonna stall, kinda flutters for a few seconds then the revs rise and all is fine

Any ideas guys?

Oh my gawd son! This sounds just like my problem I had...not funny at all!!! How many miles has it done? Just that I read recently that if the timing belt suspenders aren't replaced at the 60K maint this can cause no end of problems with the timing! Useless info that so discard it! LOL biggrin.gif

Dunno mate, mine was firing on 5 pots so that wasn't helping but I still put my problems down to the wiring loom being ARSE! wink.gif

Also recently found out that people seem to go through multiple rebuilds or new trannies(sounds like some people on this forum to be honest! LOL) only to find that it's not the AUTO box that is at fault but the AUTO computer instead turns out to be a muppet! wink.gif
