Where's the relay that stops you starting an auto if it's in gear.

As above and if you can tell me the wire colours. My car was converted from Auto to manual and never been able to get reverse lights because the alternator loom was never changed. Was messing around trying to to get reverse lights and now I think the car thinks its in gear. How do I tell it its not?

Well I do now and the car is working and just done 44miles down to Alunox for its new system

didn't know there was anything to stop you starting while in gear.

car stopped, in gear, clutch out, turn key, kangaroo forwards

thought reverse was on a switch on it's own

i ain't mechanic, can u tell?

the relay is under the drivers inner wing liner

Cheers I know that now, but what a ball ache to find it via tracing each circuit back. Running tipperty boo now and relay removed.
