Advance work will start Wed 29th but will not affect road users. Traffic management starts on Fri 8th July and involves 24-hour work with 3 lanes of traffic open in both directions using narrow lanes and contra-flows.
A 24-hour 40MPH speed limit will be in operation. SPECS cameras will monitor average speeds along this route and anyone exceeding an average of 40 will be liable to prosecution.
