Help needed with clear side repeaters.

I got some clear side repeaters but the bulb holder is not the same,where the holder pushes and twists into the back of the lense,there are two lugs on it and my car has three frown.gif.Anyone elsehad this problem?

Yup.. I got some Impreza repeaters to try on mine - and while they are more or less the same size (I think they may actually be a touch too short to cover the hole, not sure), I had exactly that problem with the bulb holder..

 

Wish I could tell you how I solved it.. But that project kinda got put on hold with everything else that was going on with the car..

Whichever car the repeaters are from (BMW, Subaru etc), go to a breakers yard and get the bulb holder for it. Then simply connect the wires.

Mine are for a 300zx they are the same shape as standard,so are you saying BM or Subaru have two lugs on the bulb holder?

Cut one of the lugs off the bulb holder and force it in. Jap thing I think.

Devil my car is UK,and I thought that is was an import thing,but I checked that out they are both the same bulb holder,I would need to take two lugs of it to line it up,but I dont think one lug will be strong enough to hold it frown.gif.
