I noticed a few on here have rather small front plates, do you have any probs with police getting stopped a lot? I was thinkin of gettin one but unsure of whether it could be more hassle than it's worth due to gettin fines etc.

Would I be at risk with Japanese plates?

What does a Japanese one look like? If it's radically different to UK then you do run the risk of drawing attention.

Jap ones are green lettering on a light peachy colour

mine is tiny police stopped me at least 5times have not mentioned it once,officer my 99spec bumper is made for a smaller plate and its an import :xxx:
