SkylineDave (cheers dude) has arranged 6 spots for Z's to go round the curcuit and a space for 24 to be on display in the car park.

I went to this event in 2003 and its really excellent.

I was planning to be at the Wakefield show, but this might tie into the hectic weekend schedule a lot better, and I could make use of my new gearbox on the track ;) (not much chance of blowing it up :D )

In all honesty i dont think i'm gonna get my Z back by this date anywoo (going in for re-spray day after JAE)

 

So, which ever i think im gonna go to, isnt gonna be in the Z (maybe)

thanks for posting this up Chunk. ive just been getting more details from one of the organisers:

 

We have 6 'exhibitor' passes which entitle you to both display your car in the 'forecourt' next to the track, and also run your car around the track - taking donating passengers with you - one lap per passenger. The passengers pay a fiver at a small kiosk by the track, then swap with the last passenger you took around. All donations go to charity - the website has more details.

 

Although the event is for Asda employees and close family and friends only, we also have 24 guest passes which will allow 24 club members (and those in their car) just to attend the day along with everyone else (think of an airshow but mainly with cars :) ). Entry is a mere fiver per car. I will need to post out to you both the exhibitor passes and guest passes.

and here's me barely able to walk properly after the driver of a 550bhp Nismo 400R-kitted GTR33 succeeded in scaring the shite out of me at 180mph :rofl: :bow:

Well Ive been out of it for a bit, missed everything coz of familly stuff :cry:

I'll be there, but just to show and browse. I don't want my car on an open track - I used to work at Mallory and I've seen too many bad things happen on run-what-yer-brung days to let it happen to me!

Ok guys I need to know who is deffo going cos I need to get the invites posted out to you - ive got less than 2 weeks left. as i said in an earlier post i have 6 exhibitor passes (for flying around the track with passengers) and 24 'normal' passes just to get into the grounds and enjoy the day.

Dont forget - no invite, no brumm brumms. lol.
