Hi all my insurance is due for re-newal in a couple of week's and i got a reasonable quote back but i wondered if there were any of you on here that currently have your import insured on a classic policy with limited mileage.

My import is now 16 years old now and i only use it mainly at weekend's so i am looking for a classic car insurer that would be willing to insure a 16year old Jap import?

Any help or link's would be appriecciated. ;)

even better than houghtons i found carole nash i have a uk t/t with them on 6000 miles a year and a mate of mine has a jap t/t again 6000 miles and we are both paying £256 per year fully comp

I will have a look at carole nash...anyone have there number?

im paying 367.00 fully comp on a 1990 TT import, only 27 yrs old with 3 points, also with an ecu upgrade..........how goods that!! :nana2: :nana2:

Oh yes, Carole Nash, I paid £230.15 for Classic Insurance, 6000 miles per year including European travel, breakdown recovery and agreed value, policy has a £250 excess, it was by far the best I could find and beat Houghtons, who at the time were out club insurers by over £100 and they didnt have the extras to go with it. Get a quote from Lifesure...they were cheapest for me at 35...ok so I am nearly a codger...

Anyone use or previously used Jardine Faber for there Z32?

I used these over 5 years ago and they were the cheapest around then for classics or future classics but what are they like now?
