My comments were around the things that have been in the news, not specifically the posts in the forum.

Your trying to tarnish a religion which you have no understanding of, as they say people get worried when they dont understand something and start to panic and try to oppress it without trying to realise that Islam is a peaceful religion but due to certain circumstances in the world it has pushed a minority of people over the edge like x-biker has said

 

The majority of muslim people i know are the most pleasant but you always get a few bad seeds just like in all other religions so what gives you the right to discriminate against all.

That's probably along the lines of what the extremist leaders over there (and here) are saying, about their percieved attack by the West on the Muslim faith.

 

Personally I dislike ALL religions. Not the "be good to each other" bit, because as fellow human beings we should all be able to get along, help each other out or at least be fair and courteous to one another. But what all religions do is to instill the beliefe that the members of the faith are right above all other people because they are on the side of "the one true god(s)", and this is what it leads to, always has throughout history.

I am a muslim, but i am not a practising muslim as quite a few people in the uk, be they christian, jew, hindu, sikh

 

I have got so involved with life that religion has kinda taken a step back in my life, but what i cant stand is when people discriminate against others for what a few extremists do

 

When will people get this into their heads, iv lived in London nearly all my life, i have a white neighbour and a Asian neighbour and we all get along like were the best of friends just like the rest of multicultural London, racist remarks from those who dont have a understanding creates disputes

you were defending what is a quite blatant racist remark and that just peed me off, i tried to give you the benefit of doubt and assumed you might have misread or just didnt realise what was said because u scanned through it. if this IS the case and you dont actually think his comments were not out of order then i apologise. otherwise i stand by what i said.
