So, apart from the obvious gargantuan fuel bill, are they pretty reliable or would I (hypothetically, of course ;)) be scouring the 'net every night for spares?

My mate Dave loves yanks and had the older version with the big V8 and although not brilliant on petrol it was no where near as bad as my ZED is........About 25 MPG on average.

Nope for me its a Mustang. GT500

Saving for one already, then the zed is going :)

Wow, she's a beauty!!

You'd be surprised about the fuel: if you've got a TT at the moment the Camaro will probably come out about the same or slightly better (I looked at getting one of these or a Corvette for a while whilst I was looking at zeds). Not sure what the performance figures for the '92 version are but expect somewhere between 240 and 300 bhp (sorry, that isn't terribly precise I know), and a bit slower to 60. Lovely car though. If money grew on trees I might get one but the insurance scares me (LHD), and the fact that they're pretty much all automatics put me off too. That said, REALLY nice car. Very much a head-turner.

There is only a few yank tanks that i really like but mainly they are from the 60's/70's

Plymouth Barracuda Hemi has gotta be my fave..........
