Hi all, just wondered if any of you guys that own or have owned NA's ever had them on a rolling road, I am getting near to the end of the mods that I am doing for now and want to get some comparisions for when I get mine done.

Iam led to beleive that our subscription may well of expired, just waiting to hear from Ian for conformation. Its causing loads of probs as our Number/website and email are no longer on display, also members have ordered parts through PMs which we have no access at the moment.

The answer to your question, no probs bead blasting is still a service which we can offer. I will speak to you about it on the blower.

Why don’t we start a national Asthmatic shootout day :bow: . We could have it down @ Pod sometime this year. As N/As pose a greater challenge to obtain more HP, this will be a great contest. With no hairdryers to assist us and just good old fashioned mechanical engineering on our side.

I'd be up for that Dave. Bloody long drive for me, but i'll do my best. :)

I guess this part all comes down to personal opinion, for me I want to keep the 3 ltr V6 engine as, for me it is part of what a 300ZX is, the fact that it is harder to get more and more power from this engine is a challenge and part of the fun.

 

Well just remember when you've spent many thousands of pounds and got a reasonable powered, but now unreliable car that I told you so. + If you are going to throw the purest hand of the V6 is part of what make it a Z. Then you could also argue that by uping the power you are changing the charactor of the car and therefore it is no longer a proper Z.

 

Save yourself the financial and physical pain and get a V8 kit. You know it makes sense.

Mark I agree with what you are saying, it makes sense to do that, but in other ways it would make sense for me to get a TT, or if I wanted more how about stepping up to a TVR? it just happens that I have the car I want and want to pamper it a bit, as far as making it unreliable, if doing something was going to have an adverse effect to what I want then it wouldnt happen, I guess what I am saying is I am happy with the car I have and I am in the fortunate position of having spare cash to spend on it. I cant wait to see one of these V8 projects finished though, it might not be what I personally want but its still gonna be an awesome car.
