Firstly- I promise this is the last help I ask for before subscribing

Second- I know sill rust is common, but has anyone had to go all the way back to the rear subframe mounts? Ive seen replacement outer panels and inner reinforcement panels but my rust is touching the panel that is behind the reinforcement panel, it is also touching the rear subframe mount. Even though the mount hasn't rusted through Im not happy about its structural integrity and Im thinking that the mount needs to be replaced. Has anyone had their rust go this far back and what did they do aboot it? Right now the only thing I can think of is to chop the whole side and underside out of a breaking zed to give me raw material.

(Btw. I know this thread may be worthless without pics, in the same way that my digital camera is worthless without batteries)

know what you mean, is as bad as this?????

Yeah like that, except where you have white paint, I have white filler. Mine has more rust on the outer panel, looks like your rust goes as far as the subframe mount as well though its hard to tell without sticking the camera up inside that hole. Any ideas? (I've already started praying, maybe if I sign up for a few more religions I can increase my chances)

i've eventually got to this..essentially cutting every scrap of rust out...The car had been repaired before ( by a cowboy ) and had to undo and cut all the crap they'd done out as well... some of the filler was atleast an inch thick!!! :hurl:
