silly question time re: jack stands

OK, I wouldn't ask this question for any other car - after all my Ren 5 sat on jack stands for months at a time, but..

I'm about 25% through the 60k maint procedure (after a day of cursing and swearing at bolts/oil encrusted accessories), and currently the car is in the garage (yes, in the garage at last! complete with new window) with the front end supported on jack stands, using the points on the frame specified in the manual (the reinforced part of the longditudinal framework)...

Now, I'm off work till Thursday, so is it gonna be OK leaving it up on the jack stands until Weds night?

Just to put my mind at ease smile.gif

Ta!

Should be fine as long as no Young people, Old People or Ideots can get near it...

Just make sure you do the Shake the Car test before you get under it again to be on the safe side.

Cheers Nico - it's locked in the garage so no other people can get near it (after being broken into a fortnight ago..)..

Is the shake the car test the one where I lean my fat gut on the front to see if it falls off the stands? biggrin.gif

Only kidding...

Cheers,

Az
