Saw it last night. Fantastic film.

I went to see it with my son - who's 18 (he paid) and thought it was excellent !

 

Mind you there were only about 8 people on the cinema......how do they make ANY money at all ?

 

Having said that 2 Pepsi's and some popcorn was £12 FFS !!

I went to a late showing and there where only about 20 people there.

 

But it was being shown every hour.

A bit more realistic than the rest of the films, none of that iceman crap.

it was more like the original comic. Very dark.

 

I also like the way you cant tell what happening in the fight scense as you only get flashes of movment in the dark.

Saw it on Monday and enjoyed it. Christian Bale was a great choice for the role (apparently the guy that played the Scarecrow, him from 28 Days Later, went up for the part originally!). He was great in Equilibrium but I can't believe how he managed to go from being as emaciated as he was in The Machinist to bulking up so much for Batman in such a short space of time. Really hope they make a sequel which deals with the Alan Moore take on Batman vs the Joker...that would be very dark indeed...;)
