Which is the best battery for my N/A??

My battery has died and not holding a charge hardly suprising cosidering its the orignal japanese one, i cannot read any of the info on the battery saying about amp hour etc. I will be needing a decent one because i will be powering a 1000 watt amp. Can anybody advise. Many thanks Guys and Gals. ;)

Sorry bud i dont have a spare speedo, and cheers for battery advice i dont suppose you know what type of Optima battery??

Optima battery's are the best bu expect to pay around £200 for a yellow top and more for the red one, but they are sealed units, so even if you turn. the car over they wont leak.

But they are the best and the output will be more constant.

They're very good batteries but your best bet if you want to go deep cycle is to go for a Deta Orbital (if it will fit in the stock position...I resited mine to the boot on my TT). They're rebranded Exide Maxxima batteries with the same tech spec but are much cheaper. ;) I ordered mine from http://www.auto-electricals.co.uk/a...eep_cycle.html (good service: very helpful and prompt delivery). There's a photo of it in my Journal so you can see what it's like.
