Installing a boost controller in my zed, phew im knackered now.

 

Cant test it as im looking after the kids and they have gone to sleep.

How come your still doing all this work if your thinking about selling it???

It's well worth doing a boost leak check after you've messed with that sort of stuff. I did mine the other day and found SIX leaks, was only able to fix five of them though - suspect the smallest one is something to do with a wastegate.

yep just waiting for he boost leak detector to arrive and then gonna check it. had least a few before so i know there are a few.

Just had first test run, still only getting 0.9 bar but it hold at that now and feels so much more lively, picks up boost so quick.

 

was getting 0.9bar dropping to 0.84 before with 0.8mm jets so know thers is a leak problem or something, but it also felt sluggish bottom end before like the turbo sppol up was takin ages, now she just picks up and flies. scared myself at first lol.

cool. i got a 2nd-hand one waiting to be installed but i think i'll leave that to the pro's. is yours a type R or type S?

the 'r' is the dual-solenoid type isnt it whereas the 's' is the single-solenoid. and trust me i'll leave it to the pro's. :D
