Sounds to me like your having trouble with lack of speed there mate. Have you considered a respray? :D

How many wires are there in all? I used to have an HKS delimiter on mine and there were 4 wires:

red = power

black = earth

white & yellow = spliced into the speed sensor wire (pin 53 of the ecu, probably yellow/green) so the signal passes through the unit. The white wire connected to the ecu side.

I don't know if the Blitz units are similar, but if there are 4 wires and you can work out where the other 3 go, that may be all you need! ;)

Edited due to a typo on the ecu pin number.

Which pins are the 3 wires connected to? Is one 53 (yellow/green)? What about the others?

sorry cant tell you now

the zed is up at the lock up now

1green/yellow

2 red

3black

tthe one not connected to ecu is green

i can only think it is an earth wire

but dont want to do any damage incase its not

My guess would be that the red is power, black is earth and the other two are for looping the speed sensor signal through the unit. It is only a guess though.

If there's no break in the speed sensor wire, I suppose it may be that they never finished installing the unit. Or it could be that my guess is wrong! ;)
