Pretty sure it's in the boot dude behind the trim, can't remember which side tho'! :slap:

left side rear pannel (passenger seat)...I know cos I sold mine not too long ago!!

Petrol pump relay is located behind the side footwell panel along side the drivers right foot, the ECU for the pump is located behind the rear passenger panel by the back seat.

To get to the fuel pump relay, after taking the drivers footwell side panel off you will see a reverse mounted bracket low down close to the door hinge area, undo this and turn it around, the relay is attached to this and is green in colour, if this is suspected of causing a fault you can as a test link it out to eliminate it.

Thanks Jeff its just i want to change my fuel filter and want to depressurise the system first. Is this the way?

Hi Steve, well in theory yes! however some residial pressure will build back oddly so not always completely successful.

Best way is to release the fuel cap pressure and then leave the car overnight, next morning absolutly no pressure, still take precautions though ie plenty of rag / paper towel around the filter to mop up any petrol and do it in a well ventilated place.

Also before removing the filter remove the fuel cap completely and leave the flap open, that way you can insert the filter in to the filler while you fit the new filter and any petrol in the old filter will run back into the tank.................... got to be worth at least 10 metres of travel
