Isle of Man Summer Performance car Weekend 15th-18th July.

 

Let me tell you, that it was such a blast last year, that the tourist board are doing it again!! All car clubs are welcome and we are officially inviting you to this year's weekend trip to the "Jurby Drag car Event" in the Isle of Man.

 

Last year's trip was amazing, I had such a great time; the roads on the Island are great, including the drive around the TT course which is one to remember. Everyone who came enjoyed the social side and relaxed atmosphere, and we hope this will take off further this year as an annual trip for all clubs.

 

Jurby airfield is booked for the Saturday and Sunday, to include a head-to head 1/4m event, and a timed sprint, open to all (including the IOM residents.)

 

In addition, there will be a social meet for all in Douglas each evening, plus a trophy presentation evening on the Sunday night.

yep it;s a really good weekend, decent drag cars, quite a few Skylarks and of course the lack of speed limit on the main roads :dance: weekend after is same thing but for the bikers...

When the Skylines come over for this, they often go out to play on the roads with no speed limits, it's deffo worth watching ;)
