Very true !! own a nova or a gti of some sort and u can get everything done like that !! Just look at max power !!!!

Its because everything is tied up in beurocratic bullsh*t phone calls or paperwork and that " if there is something you can do today... put it off til next week and charge the customer double" we as a country DO NOT stand up and say fook off if people take the piss with anything E.G fuel we had a few brave blokes try to blockade and shit all happened, poll tax are they havin a laugh with that?? .... look around any road or council maintained thing and there will be 3 workers one doin the job and the other two distracting them from doin their job. "ooh sorry mate if you want it done that fast we,ll have charge you for it" If you have a house built in the U.S. you agree with the contractor on a finish date every day over that date you knock a pecentage of the money off it. My new wheels, being painted. Dropped them off last thurs and he said ready for sat.......then monday.......then tuesday....... wednesday, thurs and now friday. I'm thinking do I have a go? Do I then get a "not bothered about it" job?

Drove a couple of hours to a bodyshop in Southend, told guy what I wanted, was going to be £2-£3k of work, didn't even call me back. Do I call him up and tell him he's a time-wasting ar5ehole?

Went onto Caskill Motorsport's website yesterday as I need new brake pads all round for the Mister 2.

 

60 squids all in for front and back EBC jobbies, emailed them last night about sending a cheque. They said no you don't wanna do that...pay the money into our bank account tomorrow and sorted. I asked are they in stock by the way? Yep just ring us when the money is in and we will post out straight away.

seems like we need to be more assertive. If someone tells me it will be done at a certain time then it had better be done by then ... a days grace perhaps .. then they will get my wrath .. for sure ... This doesn't include engine rebuilds by the way .. the key really is communication ...
