Cheapest Twin Turbo = £2500, but has a knock on the engine!

But the most expensive T-Top is a 1996 (P) NA with 75k on the clock, with no mods, going for £7995??!! :confused: Why? OK it's clean, but not exactly low mileage, at 75K thats more than my 92 :D

Then there is a guy trying to sell a 91 (H) with 130,000 on the clock, with a overhauled engine, for £7,500!

I bought mine for £1900, does that give you some idea what condition it was in? Funnily bought it from the same guy thats advertising a 'genuine' 30000 mile car for £2,795, the genuine 40000 car I bought actually had 150K on the clock. He seems to have changed his name since I met him (but not his phone number), he also left so little petrol in the tank that we were unable to take the car out on the motorway (and hence notice the ridiculous EGR leak that makes the car look like its got an underbonnet fire). Before anyone asks, yes I knew it was a lemon- thats half the reason I bought it.

I am not Bull Sh1t1ng you with this. Someone else may have seen it. A few months ago when I was hunting down my ZED there was a company from Bury St Edmonds on E Bay selling a white ZED for client the run down on the car was immense. It had apparently done only 3 or 4,000 miles from new and they were asking around £22,000 for it. It was if I remember correctly a 1992 or 3 car. I wish I had saved the page. WOW! £22,000.

I bought my 1990 TT with mega rattly cam followers and no indicated oil pressure for £500 engine flush fixed the cam followers and my universal gauge shows 80psi when cold recon I got a bargain.. I've now replaced all the brakepipes for MOT that was fun NOT!!!

saw a nice looking purple one for sale in japan the other week for 50 quid, even had nice alloys and a greddy front on it.

Remember I'm Scottish I bid him £50 first off.. :).. Na joking aside the brake pipes where all rotten the drivers window let water in like a mira "Due to a missing 10mm nut I may add" there was no oil pressure showing the car had been laid up for 2 years "Bloke told me 6months but the tax had been out for 2 years" .. When started it sounded like monkeys fighting in an oil drum with spanners and the back arches where rotten. The front jacking points also fell to bits when proded. But I new it was worth sorting.. Makes you smile when you drive it. All cars should be like that the toyota yasis should be banned along with the dawo matis "Sounds like a washing machine" Drives like one to. CARS SHOULD BE FUN !! .. I'm pissed off as a mechanic to go to an MOT station and the bloke looks at you like "O no not another car" then as it's 14 years old spends 1hour 30mins .. yes 1 hour 30mins scratching about under my motor only to ba able to find brake pipes "which I new needed changed but didn't fancy the job".. Are there any other proper mechanics left?? Im just in from my garage finishing off the welding on my 300 .. 1.30am .. Whats up with people these days "Lifes like a Matiz me thinks" BUT NOT MINE
