There was once a time when running a diesel was much cheaper than running a petrol car so WTF has gone wrong?

Get this.......................................

Last weekend I had to fill up in some motor way services at 98.9 ppl :wack: :wack: :wack: :wack: :wack: :wack:

Any one else had to pay any where near those prices?

They should have a warning on the cooking oil... Not suitable for diesels, contains nuts

Yeah my diesel contains me and i must be totally nuts to pay more for diesel than unleaded ..... government WA**KERS :xxx: ..... PROTEST TIME !!!!!

I think cooking oil plus a dash of white spirit - I'm sure the information's out there.

The exhaust smells like a chip shop and the law can conviscate the vehicle.

So maybe worthwhile on an old Peugeot, not on a new E320CDI!

I THINK you can run legaly on cooking oil if you declare it and pay the duty - it still works out much cheaper than pump diesel.

used to have a diesal vauxhall combo van as im self employed. i would use this to run around in through the week and then the zed on the weekend, if it wasnt in the garage!

sold the van in january and got a combo with gas conversion.............33.9p a litre!!!!!!!!!!

never had motoring so cheap!

I just bought a corsa 1.5 diesel (not even turbo'd) does a nice healthy 60mpg

does 0-60 in a nice healthy calender month too :D
